 spring has sprung and the summer is heating up! Okay maybe not temperature wise yet but certainly event wise! 

Here is a short list of the events I will be leading or teaching so far:

Morning Meditation Session Saturday May, 25th at 10am until 12 noon.

Inner calm can be a tricky thing to find in this fast paced world of ours; however that doesn't mean it doesn't exist and you can't have it! When you are there, balanced in the moment, everything is as it should be and you will feel peaceful at the deepest levels of your being. Come on out to our Morning Meditation session this Saturday and find your inner balance, your inner calm.

So how do you see yourself anyways? .
Like the funny cat above how you see yourself can make a huge different in your relationship with others and how you interact with the world around you. Many people suffer from low self esteem and a big part of this is due to their perception regarding themselves. I know because I had this problem all through my teenage years and it prevented me from accomplishing more than I did back then. As I started to work on understanding myself better I realized that my perception needed be changed. The good news is that no matter how you have seen yourself in the past or even today, you have the ability to change that right now and thus change your future. If a "perception" problem has you chained down, remember that a simple adjustment in your own thoughts and behaviour might be just the springboard you need to a whole new way of experiencing life and all that it has to offer. 

Some great ways to help in this manner I found worked for me, were to involve myself in different events or activities that while safe would push me outside my comfort zone, to the limit as they say. The reason for this is simple, take a moment to visualize this: Just imagine that you're an elastic band and if stretched comfortably and then let go of, you return back to where you were. However If stretched out more than once to the maximum allowed before snapping, it then becomes easier for the elasticity of the band (self imposed limitations) to lose some of its resistance and thus not return back to it's original form but now exist in an expanded reality (greater experiences create greater abilities). Now you don't return back to your old limits but are quite capable of experiencing more without the tension or anxiety you felt before. 

This is why it's a great idea to get involved in different events that will challenge you and take you to new levels within yourself! The first pre-requisite of course is to have an open mind because nothing happens if your mind is shut down. The second is to have the courage to just do it! Get involved, sign up, get out there, get into it, take some risks and make it happen. Even if you have a thousand thoughts that say not to....DO IT ANYWAYS!
