 this newsletter is short and sweet as we have had a major thunderstorm and flooding here. The water is mostly cleaned up now but we are still without power. You can see some video footage of the river running through my backyard below. 

We are proceeding with the meditation session tomorrow evening and believe everything will be under control.

Wondering what Satsang means? You're not the only one. It can have many definitions but here is one that Terry likes:

"Holding company with an assembly of persons who listen to, talk about and meditate on the highest truth bringing meaning and inner peace into one's daily life



The evening session starts at 8pm and wraps up at 10pm. It will be held at Terry's office and there is room for 12 people. The first 12 people to register will secure a spot. The cost for this event is only $20. Terry keeps the fee low on purpose so all people can experience the benefits of meditation.

Journey to India with us in 2013
, last year's trip to India was exceptional. It was truly the experience of a lifetime. Just read what John said about our journey:

 Upper & Lower Body Breathing Meditation Video 

There are 3 stages to this meditation. You will cycle through the first two stages three times before moving on to the third stage. 

STAGE ONE: 

Breathing into the upper body i.e. Shoulders, neck and upper arms. Breathing out as if you breathing out through the lower arms, hands and fingers. 

STAGE TWO:

Breathing into the mid-section i.e. the navel area, Tan Tian and hips. Breathing out as if you are breathing out through the lower legs, feet and toes. 

STAGE THREE:

Breathe normally in a relaxed manner and simply observe your body. 

You can shorten this meditation depending on your schedule. 

70 minutes - do each stage for 10 minutes 

35 minutes - do each stage for 5 minutes 

14 minutes - do each stage for 2 minutes
