This week I attended the funeral for my dear friends Rita Benedetto who made her transition on Friday, April 17 after a courageous battle with cancer, she
was 54 years young. She found out she had cancer on March 6th and passed away a very short 42 days later! She will be missed greatly as she was always so upbeat, considerate and funny...she was an awesome friend to have. My condolences to her husband John, I know this will be a difficult adjustment period ahead
of him.
Rita always read my newsletters, this will be the first one in many years that she will not read. Rita's passing goes to show us all that we never really know how much time we have left on this earth. We may live until a ripe golden age or our time may come much sooner than we expect. I think the most important thing is that we use the time we have in the best way possible. Hug the people you love in your life and let them
know they mean the world to you. Drop ongoing grudges and forgive. Make money but don't let money be your master. Take time out to smell the flowers and enjoy yourself. I know it sounds a little cliché, but truly you may never know when or if you get another chance!
With love,
