Understanding the Mind Better
Most people want to make a change. That change could be small or large but most have something that they
would like to improve upon. Modern science has proven to us without the shadow of a doubt the mind/brain is capable of making changes. This cutting edge science is called Neuroplasticity.
What is Neuroplasticity?
One of the most popular areas of research in
psychology these days is neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity refers to the brain’s ability to restructure itself after training or practice. In many ways, neuroplasticity is what makes personal growth and development possible at its most basic level. With the understanding that change is indeed possible, you’re able to focus on the ways in which you’d like to grow instead of whether or not it’s achievable for you. It’s possible, it’s proven, and now it’s up to you! Perhaps
Aristotle said it best, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."
Meditation and hypnosis are both old and new practices. They are old because they have been in practice for millennia. They are new because science has brought them into the limelight in regards to how they can help affect the brain in
a positive way.
The Dalai Lama has been working with neuroscientists for a great many years now. Simply because the Dalai has known for decades though personal experience, how powerful meditation is and scientists are now starting to believe him. As they run their scientific tests, they are seeing actual physical changes
in the brain proving once and for all practices like meditation and hypnosis work!
I could go on and on about the research and how amazing meditation, hypnosis and related modalities truly are but I really don't like tying so much! So I invite you to a meeting where we will explore these things in greater depth as well as do some practicing. So hopeful you too can start to experience the
wonderful change you are looking for.
I call the first meeting for us to get together of the New Year. I promise you it will be a great one and you will walk away with tools and resources you can immediately begin to use. This will help you continue your progress in creating the positive changes you
so desire and deserve this year!
