Wudang Mountains are said to be the birthplace of many Martial Arts like Tai Chi. These sacred  Mountains are the cradle of Taoism where you can learn the way of  balance and harmony between nature and mankind. More than 2,000 temples, 72 peaks and located at 1612 meters above sea-level, Wudang commands and absolutely stunning view to the naked eye. (Why should I join this trip?) “Start within yourself” is the main mantra of Taoism. It’s more than just a philosophy, it’s a way to know yourself!

Terry is a Martial Art and Meditation Expert who is the leader of the Tao Journeys and has owned multiple Martial Arts schools and a Wellness Centre. He's Vice President of Training for PorterVision and author of the book “Memoirs of a Wandering Ninja – Walking the Path of Enlightenment”.

Fan Yang is a creative personality that plays the role of a Curator, Art broker and Gallery Director. Being born and brought up in China, Fan is deeply connected to her roots since childhood and has immense liking and knowledge of her culture. She's also experienced in conducting Spiritual Retreats and have successfully conducted many retreats in China and Europe.

Andy is a passionate Sifu that wants to spread his knowledge by the means of the sword as well as a pen. He excels in Wudang Tai Chi Quan, Taiyi Wuxing Quan, Xuanwu Quan, Baji Quan, Whisk Quan, Bagua Quan, Xingyi Quan, Tai Chi Sword, Wuxing Qigong, Baduan Jin and Taoist-style health-preserving Qigong. Andy Zhang Sifu is the 26th Generation Master of the Dragon Gate Taoism Wudang Kung Fu.

Zhang is the symbol of women with strength and you can say 'The Ninja Woman'. She's an inspiration to all those women who want to learn something more than just Marital Arts. She's been training traditional Wudang forms for 12 years and now teaches other who wish to learn.

When Is The Next Wudang Retreat Happening?
This years Tao Journeys Beijing-Wudang Retreat will commence from November 7, 2016 to November 19, 2016. It will be a thirteen day journey starting from Beijing. 
Also this year you'll be fortunate to learn Martial Arts from the Taoist Tai Chi Masters at the Wudang Internal Kung Fu Academy (on special request of last year's retreat members) for a full 6 days of our retreat!
