One of my participants on the Wudang, China trip last year will be attending the India trip this year. She wrote to me just last week and told me there is an animal rescue sanctuary close to Agra that she has supported for many years. Agra is one of the cities we will be
visiting on our trip to see the majestic Taj Mahal.
If enough people are interested, maybe we can take a side trip and visit this amazing place that does great work for our fellow sentient life forms. |

The Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors of the Ming (1368–1644) and Qing (1644–1911) Dynasties.
The construction of the grand palace started in the fourth year of Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty (1406), and ended in 1420.
