Monday Nov. 21, 2016Arrive in Delhi, India. 

Tuesday Nov. 22, 2016 - Visit Old Delhi to see Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in all of India. Then we will gain a unique glance at local life by an exploration to the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk on rickshaw. Later we will visit the Bahai’s House of Worship. This temple is designed in the form of a lotus which is considered as a universal spiritual symbol of awakening. We will also visit the Birla temple and the Bangla Sahib Sikh Temple. We will visit Gandhi Smriti, the place where Gandhi died, and the National Gandhi Museum, where many great memories of Gandhi are on display. Thereafter we will reach Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. The eternal flame at the site was installed in his memory. To top the day off we will visit Gandhi Darshan to learn more about his life as a person, as a leader, and as a father of the Indian nation. Here we will see the 11 statues depicting Gandhi’s Dandi March, an action he carried out to break the country’s salt law.

Wednesday Nov. 23, 2016After a hearty breakfast we begin our scenic drive to Haridwar. The town of Haridwar, meaning Gateway to God, stands on the right banks of the river Ganges, at the foot of the Shivalik Mountains. Known as Mayapuri in the ancient days, it has been a sacred place of pilgrimage from time immemorial. Haridwar is one of the four pilgrim center where Kumbh is held every twelfth year and is also home to numerous Ashrams and Dharamshalas and we will visit some.

Thursday Nov. 24, 2016 - We continue our journey with a one hour drive to Rishikesh the “City of the Divine.” Rishikesh is a deep cultural center that has been attracting pilgrims for thousands of years.
Upon arrival we will check into the stunning Ganga Kinare Riverside Botique Hotel With the holy waters of the Ganges and the mountains forming a backdrop, the resort is the epitome of spirituality. Its serene environment is a perfect platform our group to make the transcendental journey into meditation. We will to witness and participate if you like in the Puja and Aarti ceremony at the bank of the sacred Ganges River.

Friday Nov. 25, 2016Today after breakfast we will journey to the Vashisht Gufa Cave situated at a one hour drive from Rishikesh. This is where famous Saint Vasistha meditated on the banks of the river Ganga. This is no ordinary cave and not meant as a tourist attraction, rather it’s meant for seekers of enlightenment.

Saturday Nov. 26, 2016After Breakfast we will journey to Neer Garh Waterfall that is a close to Luxmanjhla. The walk from the roadside up to the falls takes about 30 minutes. It’s a very pleasant walk with vibrant nature all around. Here Terry will lead a group meditation and Qigong/Tai Chi exercises.
After lunch Terry will give a Satsang (talk) on the beauty of awareness and how awakening can help you find and accelerate your purpose in life.
After dinner Terry will lead Kundalini meditation.

Sunday Nov. 27, 2016 Today after breakfast we visit the Beatles Ashram, originally known as Maharishi mahesh yogi ashram, The Beatles visited here to attend Meditation sessions in 1968, stayed for several weeks and composed nearly 48 songs during their stay. John Lennon even recorded a song titled, ‘The Happy Rishikesh Song’.

Monday Nov. 28, 2016After breakfast we will visit of Osho Gangadham Ashram which is situated in the pleasant natural area near river Ganges. This lush contemporary campus is a tropical oasis where nature and the 21st Century blend seamlessly, both within and without. With its natural jungle pathways, beautiful rooms, it is the perfect setting to take time for a group meditation as well as some time out for yourself.

Tuesday Nov. 29, 2016After breakfast it’s time to participate in yoga with one of the best Yoga Masters in all of Rishikesh, Yogi Ashish Sharma.
Afternoon participate in Satsang and Dyad Meditation Communication. In the evening Terry will lead a Sufi inspired meditation called No Dimensions and then celebration of life exercises and activities. You’re going to love this!

Wednesday Nov. 30, 2016After breakfast participate in another yoga session with Yogi Ashish Sharma. In the afternoon participate in Satsang and Dyad Meditation/Communication Exercises and then Pranayama Breathing Meditation to stimulate your inner Chi (energy). The evening will be the Radiant Lotus Meditation and Loving Kindness group exercises.

Thursday Dec. 1, 2016After breakfast you will have the opportunity to participate in another yoga session with Ashish Sharma or simply take some quiet, contemplative time out on your own. After that we will begin the drive back and upon arrival once again spend the evening relaxing at the Hans New Delhi Hotel. Now it’s time to get well rested and energized for the active schedule tomorrow, in another city, with a full day of incredible sight-seeing planned!

Friday Dec. 2, 2016After breakfast we drive to Agra.
In the afternoon we will proceed for the sightseeing tour of the city. AGRA FORT – The red sandstone structure is surrounded by chahar-bagh, a four-square formal garden.
After Agra Fort we will visit BABY TAJ or the ITMAD-UD-ULLAH – The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj Mahal.
After we will return to our hotel in Agra and rest up for an early morning start.

Saturday 3, 2016Today be prepared to be amazed! We will visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Built by emperor Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen.
Emperor Shah Jahan said of the Taj Mahal, “The sun and moon shed tears from their eyes.”
